Amanda Phillips is an Assistant Professor of English at Georgetown University. She received her Ph.D. from the Department of English as a Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellow at the University of California, Santa Barbara, with an emphasis certificate from the Department of Feminist Studies, and she served as the IMMERSe Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Davis. Her publications can be found in Games and Culture, Queer Game Studies, Digital Creativity and Debates in the Digital Humanities. She is a founding member of the #transformDH Collective and is the co-facilitator of the American Studies Association Digital Humanities Caucus.
