Li Sheng is an Associate Professor of communication sciences and disorders at the University of Delaware. She teaches and conducts research on language development and disorders and bilingualism. Li is currently leading a three-year funded project on the development of an oral language assessment tool for preschoolers who speak Mandarin Chinese as their native language. She has published and presented widely in cross-disciplinary fields of psycholinguistics, second language acquisition, child development, educational and developmental psychology, and speech-language-pathology. She is an editor for the American Journal of Speech Language Pathology and an editorial consultant for more than 30 academic journals and publishing companies. She obtained a Ph.D. in communication sciences and disorders from Northwestern University, Illinois, USA.
