Jane Butler is a rising senior at the University of Texas at Austin currently pursuing a degree in Journalism. She plans on focusing on digital media and journalism. She grew up in Austin but hopes to move once she graduates. She loves photography, playing volleyball and spending time working towards being a journalist. She would consider herself to be a world traveler, as she has been to 8 countries, including Turkey, China, and Thailand. She hopes that after she graduates, she can spend more time globally, focusing on telling the stories of people around the world in a journalistic way. Her dream job is to work for National Geographic, where she can create documentaries about people's stories and experiences in efforts to educate the world about cultures other than their own. She is very excited to visit Austria and explore Europe for the first time.
