Sophie Larkin-Tannett is currently studying communication and media at Bournemouth University. She is 20 years of age and comes from Haringey, North London. After completing her A-levels she took a gap year before becoming a University student. Sophie left for 10 months to travel the world, working in Australia for 6 months and travelling around Asia for the remaining 4 months. Her desire and love for travel has been heavily influenced by the various cultures she grew up with. London is one of the most diverse cities in the world, exposing different ethnicities, cultures and values growing together and living side by side. She has a growing passion for media and politics, and hopes to enhance these interests by learning and utilizing her professional skills towards the goal of working as a broadcast journalist.
