Florian Scholochow is a tech and strategy facilitator with a strong entrepreneurial background. As founder and CEO of Mohemian Ventures, he has helped to build several international companies in the field of mobility, identity provision and verification, as well as digital travel security and data driven decision making. He is active in various working groups, such as the "Security in Travel Initiative" at the World Economic Forum.
Florian is also CTO and co-founder of Airside Mobile, inc. In ths position he architected and led the implementation of the Mobile Passport Control system. In cooperation with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Mobile Passport allows its almost 2 million users to immigrate into the United States with their smartphone at 21 U.S. airports and one cruise port. The success of this program was underlined in official press release by the White house and the Department of Homeland Security.
At the World Data Lab, Floriwn works together with leading experts from the Brookings Institution and the World Bank on cognitive technologies for actionable data models and forecasts.
