Leni Stoeva is a visual artist. Previously, she has worked as the creative placemaking program officer for Community LIFT, an organization that plays a critical role in helping Memphis to become a City of Choice, by concentrating human capital, economic and community development resources, and efforts in distressed neighborhoods for maximum effect. Before becoming program officer, Leni led arts and culture-based programming and events in Soulsville, and worked with StartCo to launch an art leasing startup. She is a Young Arts Patron and an ArtsMemphis Fellow. She is currently working as a freelance artist and the public relations and marketing manager for a regional and local food distribution company in Memphis. She works in multi-media formats in her personal artwork. She is passionate about Memphis and developing experiences and opportunities to encounter the city's authentic, cultural, and natural environment. Leni was born in Sofia, Bulgaria and grew up in Memphis, TN. She holds a B.F.A. from Memphis College of Art and a M.F.A. in digital media from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
