PhDr. Olga Škvareninová, Ph.D., has studied languages at the Faculty of Arts Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. She taught Slovak language at Comenius University and at the University of Vienna, Austria. At present she teaches at the Faculty of Mass Media Communication of University of SS. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava, Slovakia.
The Slovak language of mass media, verbal and non-verbal cross-cultural communication, psycholinguistics and globalization are among the qualities she possesses at the moment. An interdisciplinary approach to her work is her preference. She is the author of books Speech Communication, Pictorial Dictionary of Slovak Language, Paronymous Dictionary, Practice Guide to Slovak Language, Stylistics and Rhetoric. In Slovakia she also works as media and communication coach.
She did two internships at the European Parliament in Brussels and at the Institute of Social Sciences and Journalism at the Charles University in Prague, Bohemia.
