Sarah Widmaier is Scientific Coordinator of the ifa`s Research Programme "Culture and Foreign Policy". The Research Programme focuses on different aspects of international cultural relations and culture in foreign policy, such as co-operation among asymmetric partners, memory cultures, civil conflict resolution and European external cultural relations. After her studies of social sciences at the University of Mannheim, Germany and Sciences Po Paris, France, she was an in-house Consultant in the International Migration Division at the OECD. Her research focused on labour market integration of migrants and their children in OECD countries, "brain drain" and development.
