Surry Scheerer

Surry Scheerer, LMSW, is a leadership and organizational culture consultant, trainer and coach in both the public and private sectors. Ms. Scheerer is an executive consultant coach for custom programs at The University of Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education Program. She has also coached Ross students in the Executive Skills Program and the Tauber Instittute for Global Operations. Ms. Scheerer serves as leadership development trainer, coach and team facilitator for the International Professional Fellows Exchange, a program sponsored and implemented by the U.S. Department of state and The University of Michigan Dearborn, Henry W. Patton Center for Engineering Education and Practice. Recently, she has been appointed as a lecturer at the University of Michigan Gerald Ford School of Public Policy where she teaches a course on Professional Development. Ms. Scheerer also consults with private firms on leadership and organizational culture development.


Ms. Scheerer speaks and consults nationally and internationally on leadership development, communication, self and social awareness, self management skills and building effective relationships in the workplace.


She received her B.S. degree in human development and social policy from Northwestern University and her Master of social work degree from the University of Michigan.


Surry Scheerer is also a professional Jazz singer.
