Anupama Sekhar is an arts manager specializing in transnational cultural co-operation. Currently, she is director of policy and engagement at IFACCA, the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies. She is also member of the selection committee of UNESCO's International Fund for Cultural Diversity; Board Member of ArtsEquator, which promotes critical writing about the arts in Southeast Asia; and curator of the South-South Arts Fellowships 2022 for cultural workers from the Global South. Previously, she was director for culture at the Asia-Europe Foundation. She is a trained dancer in the Indian classical Bharatnatyam style. Anupama is from India and currently lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
