Gilberto Pozzi is co-head of global mergers & acquisitions in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in London, UK. Previously, he was head of EMEA mergers & acquisitions, and before that, co-head of the global consumer retail group. Over the years, Mr. Pozzi developed a number of client relationships in France, Italy, and the United Kingdom, and has been instrumental in the execution of many of the firm's mergers and acquisitions assignments. Mr. Pozzi joined Goldman Sachs in 1995 as an associate in London. He was named managing director in 2003 and partner in 2008. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Pozzi worked on the currency and derivatives desk at Credit Commercial de France in Paris. He holds a B.A. from Bocconi University, Italy, and an M.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
