Hello! My name is Devyn Branick and I am a student at the University of Rhode Island. I am a double major in Communication Studies and Film Media. I currently work for the University of Rhode Island's Harrington School of Communication and Media as a Brand Ambassador. I am constantly producing new material for our website and social media sites and I brainstorm creative ideas with my colleagues to help improve our outreach and eventually, we put them into effect. After receiving my degrees, I hope to work for a television network under the Programming department or the Production department. Eventually, I want to get my Masters in Cinematic Arts and become a professor to teach college students. I am very interested in the rhetoric of Communication, specifically in the News and in current events, and the pre-production and analytical side of film. I also enjoy writing screenplays and I hope to learn more about the making of documentaries. Before I graduate, I want to absorb as much information as I possibly can about the ever-changing world of communication and media.
