Heather Jaber is a graduate student in Media Studies with a BA in Business Administration at the American University of Beirut. She was born in the United States to an American mother and Lebanese father, and has lived between Boston and Beirut her entire life. Heather's hobbies include photography, writing, and gymnastics. She has worked as a reporter in various capacities, as well as serving one year as the editor-in-chief of her university's student newspaper. She is interested in gender representation in Arab media and hopes to eventually pursue a Ph.D. in the field.
