Eun Jung Choi is a political researcher at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Washington, DC. Prior to her current post, she worked as a graduate researcher for the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education, where she formulated teaching guides used to develop instruments for elementary school education on the Hiroshima bombing of World War II. As a research assistant at the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC), Ms. Choi focused on diplomacy and cooperation in North East Asia and analyzed the humanitarian situation in North Korea. During that time she also worked as a personal research assistant for the Korean Ambassador to the EU. In addition to her independent studies in the fields of economy and ecotourism, Ms. Choi also produced reports on the failure to prevent the Rwandan Genocide and the September 11th attacks. She holds an M.A. in International Policy Studies from Stanford University.
