22 Dec - 29 Dec, 2008

|
Description:
The 2008 Winter Festival: A Holiday Event, December 22-29, is scheduled during the festive holiday week. The program gives you the chance of a wonderful Christmas holiday but also provides stimulus for those who want it - in the tradition of the Salzburg Global Seminar. So, if you fancy a bit of skiing (or swimming in an outdoor heated pool with snow covered mountains all around), late night conversations in the Bierstube, Christmas Mass or secular alternatives, table tennis, fierce competition with eight year old table football geniuses, why not come and join us? Bring your friends, family and children so that they can enjoy the wonderful spirit of Salzburg. Enjoy a quiet glass of wine by the fire, while children and grandchildren participate in activities planned just for them. This program is designed for your family of all ages and friends. Highlights include: - Skiing or sledding in Mühlbach am Hochkönig (bus transfer included)
- Visit of the Christmas Market at the Residenzplatz or at Hellbrunn Palace
- Excursion to Königssee, Berchtesgaden, Germany
- Visiting Salzburg‘s famous Winter Festival
- Horse-drawn sleigh ride in Filzmoos (bus transfer and sleigh ride included)
- Visit to the Salzbergwerk (salt mine) in Hallein
- Visit to Bad Hofgastein
