2011 Annual Appeal
Greetings Salzburg fellows, faculty and friends around the world! We are proud to write to you today as we launch the 2011 Annual Fund Campaign of the Salzburg Global Seminar.

From now until December, hundreds of Salzburg Fellows will step through the doors of Schloss Leopoldskron for the first time. For five days they will learn from the leading experts as well as their peers, and discuss and debate a range of critical issues facing our world - increasing innovation in healthcare with Session 481 in September, strengthening US and East Asian relations with Session 483 in November, and narrowing social mobility gaps in education with Session 485 in December, to name a few. You can see the full schedule here and can keep up with your alumni network as well.

Salzburg will be the catalyst for these emerging leaders, helping them test their ideas among a network of their peers. They will transform ideas into knowledge, and use that knowledge to form a better world. You need not look far to find our extraordinary Salzburg Fellows putting their Salzburg experience to work - leading government, business, research and non-profit institutions, offering insights and influence on topics ranging from the new economic paradigm to expanding the role of the arts.

Salzburg’s success is intricately connected to each one of us. From the pioneer participants of the late 1940s who envisioned a way to engage people and nations across the boundaries of war, to our most recent Fellows exploring the transformative power of music just last month, Salzburg has always been about convening the right people, at the right time, for the benefit of all.

By investing in the Salzburg Global Seminar, and making a contribution to the Annual Fund campaign today, we can make a difference in the lives of the leaders of tomorrow.

Our contributions provide scholarships to bring participants from all corners of the world and fund emerging, time-sensitive sessions that respond to world events. Our gifts ensure that the highest caliber of faculty can offer excellent content, years of experience, and valued mentoring to incubate the next generation of leaders.

We are each making gifts of $1,000 to the Annual Fund year, reflecting our commitment to the Seminar and our belief in its important work. Your gift is equally important. Will you contribute $50, $100, $250, $1000 (matching our gifts) or more? You can make your 2011 gift right now by clicking here: http://donation.salzburgglobal.org/.

Through your contribution, you can change the lives of each person who comes to Schloss Leopoldskron this year, just as our own lives were changed in Salzburg. You can honor your Salzburg experience by joining with us and making your 2011 contribution today. We thank you in advance for your support.

With very best wishes,

Adam de Sola Pool & Maya Morsy
Annual Giving Campaign Co-Chairs
