GFMD World Conference - December 7-10, Athens, Greece
The second Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD) World Conference took place in Athens, Greece from December 7-10, 2008. The first GFMD World Conference, held three years ago in Amman, Jordan attracted more than 500 media development NGOs from 97 countries. Since then, a steering committee has operated on behalf of its members and a permanent secretariat has been established in Brussels. read more...
