Value vs. Profit: Recalculating ROI in Financial and Social Terms
Salzburg Global Forum for Young Cultural Leaders
27 Oct - 01 Nov, 2012
Realizing the Right to Health: How can a rights-based approach best contribute to the strengthening, sustainability and equity of access to medicines and health systems?

program

This session will have sixty participants, including approximately ten panelists and facilitators and fifty young leaders. The young leaders (Fellows) will have a minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the cultural sector and be approximately 25-35 years old. They will come from all continents and represent a broad spectrum of cultural expression and artistic endeavor – from dance, music, and theater to visual media, museums, cultural heritage institutions, and festivals. The panelists and facilitators are invited based on their expertise and on the diversity of their experience, cultural background, and professional focus.

The Fellows are emerging leaders in their fields, with a strong interest in strengthening the position of arts institutions within their societies. Participants are selected - through an application and nomination process - to bring a diversity of professional knowledge, experience and focus as well as regional, cultural and gender diversity. As all participants are housed on-site and take meals together, the opportunity for sharing and learning through informal and loosely structured discussions is maximized.
