Biography:
Friedrich KÜBLER is a professor of law at the University of Pennsylvania. He has formerly served as a professor of law at the University of Frankfurt, the University of Konstanz, and the University of Giessen, and was a teaching fellow at Harvard Law School. He is also of counsel in the Frankfurt offices of the global law firm Clifford Chance. His academic interests include corporate law, mass media law, European law, and international finance. He has authored a textbook on German corporate law, Gesellschaftsrecht, that has since been translated into Spanish. Dr. Kübler received a master’s degree, with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania, his Habilitation from Tübingen University, and a Ph.D. from Tübingen University. He is an alumnus of Salzburg Seminar Session 111, American Law and Legal Institutions,1967; served as a guest lecturer at Salzburg Seminar Session 232, American Law and Legal Institutions, 1984; and served on the Faculty at Salzburg Seminar Session 293, American Law and Legal Institutions,1991.
