Leadership for Wellbeing: Developing a Culture of Care - Three vital conversations for creating wellbeing and resilience in the hybrid workforce

Online

17.30 to 19.00 Central European Time

Overview

The world of work has shifted dramatically, demanding a new level of Relational Intelligence amongst leaders. Pandemic fatigue, the challenges of collaborating long distance with colleagues and the ongoing invasion of work on the safe haven of home are affecting people’s stress levels, mental health and wellbeing. To give meaningful support, leaders now need to have conversations around topics and personal issues that previously have felt outside their remit. Often this presents a challenge to existing leadership styles and cultures, and prevailing assumptions around a personal / professional divide.

In this new hybrid environment, the success of leaders rests heavily on their ability to lead with compassion and confidence, nurture relationships long distance, maintain productivity and support wellbeing, while managing their own personal circumstances. The need to connect on a more human level and model a life of productive work and balance has never been greater.

In this session, Andrea Taylor-Cummings, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, 4 Habits Consulting will explore three key issues that leaders must address to create psychologically safe environments, foster open, honest conversations and discover a more sustainable rhythm to work, home, life and balance. Specifically, the session will explore:

  • The three assumptions crippling people’s ability to have open, honest conversations.
  • The three conversations that leaders must master.
  • 8 F’s for creating and modelling healthy boundaries as leaders.
