This website is a gateway to resources for Political Leadership and Media Democracy, an American Studies Center workshop of the Salzburg Seminar. This workshop brings together political scientists, historians, journalists, and scholars of American Studies to examine the Nixon, Reagan, Bush and Clinton eras, charting changes, highlighting developments, and indicating the evolving relevance of the relationships between political leadership, the media, and public opinion.
