Robyn Whittaker

Co-Founder and Director, Africa Voices Dialogue, South Africa

Robyn Whittaker is a Collaboration Convenor seeking to understand how best the conditions for effective collaboration can be fostered through relationship building. A medical doctor by practice, she has shifted her practice from a focus on the individual, to address social therapeutics, and in particular to understanding how the conditions for relationality and trust for supporting societal wellbeing might be facilitated. Through Kaleidoscope Lights and Africa Voices Dialogue, Robyn supports organisations, sectors and systems to engage in deeper forms of co-creative work.

Robyn has a particular focus on human development, and on understanding the "how" of deep collaborative work to support the evocation of human potential and the evolution of functional and relational impact ecosystems. She currently explores this through work in the fields of learning ecosystems and youth development in South Africa (with DBE E-Cubed and EdEco Connect), on the African continent (with Africa Voices Dialogue, Catalyst 2030, Talenttalks Africa and The Room), and globally with the NetEdu Project and Purpose Alliance.
