Rowan Youssef is the operations and administration assistant at Salzburg Global Seminar. In her role, she facilitates the participant registration processes and international travel for our programs. Prior to joining Salzburg Global Seminar, Rowan worked for the British Council as a Society Programmes Officer, where she played a key role in coordinating multiple projects focused on combating violence against women, education management, and fostering youth development. She also worked as a gender studies researcher at the WMF. Born and raised in Egypt, and based in Austria since 2021, Rowan's interests include photography, intersectional feminism, travel and animals. She holds an MA in critical gender studies from CEU in Austria.
